This certificate came to the studio folded but was in very nice shape considering its age.  After testing the ink and colors for stability, the piece was washed and readied for lining onto a new support paper.  The owner requested that no further restoration be done to the piece, as they wanted it as original as possible.  The restored document was then encapsulated and returned to the owner.
